Question for vivid dreamers

do you think we dream in real time, or in fast forward? My thoughts on this are much more involved, but I am too sleepy to be able to type much. It's just that I keep lying awake in bed with thoughts racing through my mind ... and I had to do something to slow down.

I can have a complete movie happen inside a snooze session from the alarm clock.

Or it seems that way...I wonder, sometimes, if it was really a remembered dream from before that was mis-filed.

4. Sometimes I have dreams that seem so real

even after I am wide awake. I sometimes think I have done something that I didn't do or even could not even physically have done. . . like flying Peter Pan Style.

I use to have a dream in college that I walked in to a class and realized that I had missed the last five classes. Or a test or something. Or forgot where a class was or that I was even taking it.
