10. I actually find Tulsa to be the most liberal part of the state
At least in my experience. And certainly when it comes to the arts and such it beats OKC hands down. But then I'm biased. I really don't get the furniture of this type. Although I wouldn't mind living out in the country in a log cabin style house.

5. I really don't get the "rustic" bit.
Native Texan here. Not that Texas is much better, but the cities are more progressive. We still have large swaths of ignorance as well.

If I want rustic, I'll plant a tree outside, or get a large houseplant.

I don't like cowboy furniture either.

15. Wow. New frontiers in horrible furniture.
BTW, one year the ugly sofa contest had a burnt orange horror with quilted cushions.

I happened to have a burnt orange horror with plain cushions. :rofl:

It has a solid frame and is over 8 feet long.
I have since gotten it re-stuffed and re-covered in navy blue.
