1. You wanting serious answers, or Lounge material? :)
Serious answer: Pro-RIAA, pro-DCMA, pro-usury, Drug Warrior, wants to outlaw half our guns.

Lounge answer: Can't play the saxophone, no talent on the unicycle, has never appeared shirtless on the cover of Muscle and Fitness.

4. Most of those things bother the fuck out of me..
The middle one I'm willing to give him a temporary pass on. He reps DE, home of the national and international headquarters of most of the largest banks in the US. I suspect (and have been told by people who live in DE) that you kind of have to take that position (whether you believe in it or not) in order to not find yourself running against the financial institution's billions.

If he does not change his tune after he gets the nomination...I'll be among the chorus calling him on it.

7. Interesting...
I didn't see that earlier as I got home from work about an hour ago. I'm surprised...I figured that it was going to be him if only because he was the "safe choice".

I'm really hoping now that it isn't Bayh. I'd love it to be Richardson.

8. Richardson would be a poor choice
he's seen as a turn coat now, even by republicans. Clark is who I'd love to see, and who I think it will be for various reasons.

9. I'd love to see it be Clark as well...
I was working from the assumption that it was one of the people mentioned in the article. Of those, I really don't want Bayh, don't know enough about Kaine, Biden says it's not him, which left Richardson who I think highly of as a diplomat.

But yes, Clark would be better. I hope you're right. I assumed he was out of consideration.

15. I'd prefer Clark to any of the named "short list" people
but, I haven't heard him mentioned at all, and Wes Clark's son supposedly posted on DailyKos that his father had not been vetted by the Obama campaign.

If Biden is being honest about it not being him, I would hope it's Richardson over Bayh or Kaine.

21. It won't be Clark
1. Flip-flopped on the IWR, changed position depending on political situation
2. Gaffe machine
3. Wes Jr. is a loose missile
4. 2004 showed him to be a poor campaigner

I will never ever get over that piece of shit legislation tacked on to the Amber Alert Bill after being shot down in committee many times before.

13. No kidding. Ever BEEN to a rave?
I have, and I wasn't on X.

I really, really needed that bottled water.

If the venue isn't air conditioned, just a lot of dancing will lead to heat stroke.
