Some here are aware of the feral tom cat that's insinuated himself into my life, coming and going from time to time as he pleases. Well, about five days ago he wanted in for the night, and miraculously he stayed in ALL NIGHT LONG. He had been wanting out about four in the morning, but I guess he came to the realization that sleeping indoors on a carpet beats the hell out of sleeping outdoors under a house.

He's been inside ever since, only wanting out for a short time each evening to do cat stuff. The rest of the time he's been mellowing out in the bedroom. When I go to bed at night he jumps up for an ear scritch then hops down to sleep on the floor next to my bed, guarding me from monsters in the dark.

Looks like it's as permanent as it can get- now I have to get some tranks, dope him up and take him to have him snipped (man, I hate that concept!) and get him his shots.

All he needs now is a name. (Sorry, no pictures at this time.)

He must really respect you not to spray up the house. Better hurry with the snip snip. I like real people names for cats especially boys. Our male is named Bob, his sister is Ralph. Poor thing my sons named her before they knew she was a she. My bunny-man was named Jack. Gosh, I miss him. Anyway, I like those nice short mens names for kitth-boys. Joe, Tom, Hal, Fred, Sam, Jim, Chuck.....something on that order. Now my special kitty is Toonsis, which translates out to Toonsie Mooner Mow. You might not want a name like that for your manly man cat.

I guess he's decided to settle down now, I'm glad he found someone to help him, he is a lucky little guy!
