Two questions about Silence of the Lambs

1. How did they groom Hannibal (shave and a haircut, etc.)?

2. When Clarice was searching Frederica Bimmel's room and found the PG-naughty photos hidden in the music box, she just left them there out in the open for Frederica's grieving father to find. Is this standard FBI procedure?

3. I believe Hannibal ...

1 would allow for haircuts as he was into personal grooming. I dont think that is too far fetched. I also dont think he wanted to eat everyone he met.

2 It probably is standard FBI procedure. And remember, Starling was new, she also failed to call for backup when she found the real deal. Huge mistake.
