Whew! I thought for a moment, that my 2nd Sunday in a row was going to be ruined.

But, it turns out the coupons were just buried deep in the paper. Last Sunday was just awful, and I don't know if I could have survived another one.

5. no way! that the suck. I used to go to Stop and shop in meffa and save a bundle

between double coupons and then the ones that were in the Stop and shop circular. I wish there were coupons for cigarettes and beer.

7. The majority of the coupons I don't use

Some Sundays I have zero, but end up clipping one or two just to feel that I didn't get skunked.

11. I'm glad someone finally asked even if you witnessed the shameful event

So, today on DU I learned that some parts of Mississippi today hold segregated graduations. I was floored to learn that in this day and age, that could happen.

So I immediately turned to our cat and relayed my indignation. Our cat didn't even flinch. He just sat there on his racist belly, and blinked. When I pressed him further, he still didn't respond but gave that "cat eyes' thing. I could tell what he was thinking though, based on his caterisms: "Segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever, meow!"

I can't believe our cat sometimes. :cry:

13. they double and even triple them around here

BUT (always) they limit the total to one dollar so no matter how good the coupon is you can only get a buck off.

And of course they are always for over processed crap I rarely buy ... so might get use one or two a trip. bleh

12. I love coupons

2 weeks ago, we used $12.50 worth of them, and I felt accomplished. I even held up the line to run back and get the proper item so that my $1.50 coupon would not go unused (it also expired soon after).

For a time, I tried doing the online coupon thing, but it didn't work out, and just managed to infect my old computer with viruses/malware.
