The cat of someone I knew did a Buddy Clinton last month
Last month I had seen a sign on a tree about how an "injured black and white cat was taken to an emergency animal clinic" and my reaction was "good "divine powers that be," I hope that poor kitty wasn't the kitty who I thought it was" since I in a sense knew the cat by knowing the people who owned him and one of the owners told me the kitty, Spike ended up doing a Buddy Clinton and one of the other owners of the cat actually showed me the spot in their yard where they buried him.

Found it was a good thing that cat funerals were also generally fairly private since for divine powers that be's sake it would also be a sad or :( thing to see someone burying their own or actually their kid's cat when the animal wasn't that old. I had learned that the kitty was probably engaging in "risky and risque" business "tomcatting around" when he had been hit by a car, I also found out he was never castrated or neutered and that unfortunate inicident confirmed for me how "spayed or castrated pets RULED and unspayed or uncastrated pets DROOLED" in terms of longevity since the latter ones could meet with unfortunately avoidable illnesses or mishaps.
