I am having a lot of problems with Itunes and I can't seem to find answers anywhere.

The latest thing is that it won't transfer any of my purchased music until I deauthorize and they reauthorize my computer. This happens every day but only once, when I first turn on the machine. Some of the answers on the forums say to update with Apple updater but everything is already up to date.

The other thing is that I often get a runtime error and it shuts down but when I restart everything works okay.

I understand that there are other programs that sync with ipods, like Media Monkey but I have a bunch of podcasts through Itunes and I am not sure how it would deal with those.

If anyone has any ideas, let me hear them.

Oh, and I am not going to "get a mac" LOL. I am not even sure that would help.

Audio only though. There is something else you can use for video - can't remember the name off the top of my head, but I was reading about it recently. I'm preparing for my new iPod that will be arriving in a couple of days. :D

I'd say MM is worth a try.

I am not sure I care that much about those though.

I pointed him to MM earlier today and I know he's already downloaded it and started playing with it. See what his impressions of it are since he's using it right now with a modern iPod. I used the program years ago with my 1gen mini - haven't used it since then. Just put it back on my machine a couple of days ago in preparation for the new iPod I have coming - they've made a great program even better since the last time I messed with it from what I can tell.

I don't know what Primate1 thinks about it yet, but he should be able to give you some good opinions on it - especially since he uses iTunes already. He'd probably be able to make an excellent comparison.

Haven't had much time to dig deep into it and play around, but I am very impressed so far.

So I think I would still have to have itunes on my computer, even though it is a resource hog.
