Catsitting in Chicago - sorry no photos. Cats insisted.
When we came in Chicago to stay at a house for an event this weekend - the owner neglected to mention that one of the two cats is an escape artist. Dad opened the door, and the cat got away. Took about an hour, enticing milk didn't help, finally - so I decided to see if the cat is smart enough to get home if I chase it (I know, bad Hawkeye-X), but it took all of 3 minutes of chasing before the cat decided he wanted to go home. I yelled at Dad to open the door - to let the cat in. Sure enough he was in for the night.

The cat's a beautiful, although imperfect calico - the tail looks like it was cut off. His name is Ushpee. The other one (a shy black cat that I was able to see only twice) is Amber. Ushpee loved to cuddle and likes my hand to his head and get stroked. When he's done, he hisses and runs away, but otherwise doesn't mind the company.
