Please, can I stay here for awhile among the sane people?

I go elsewhere on DU and I feel like I'm in a tabloid. I wonder if this presidential campaign is ever going to be rational. Obama seems to be the only sane one in the house. Whew! I'll rest for awhile.

I'm usually in the camp that says 'if you don't wanna read something, then don't click on the link', but jeezzuz, every other thread is about that certain topic. I understand the interest in it, but it just seems a bit too much... Then again, I tend not to be too interested in any of these types of things no matter who it is....

I'm assuming you're referring to the Palin baby thing and the Edwards stuff a few weeks back, right?
