1. One of those rare movies that is better than the book (which was fairly good too.)

Falls off the rails a bit near the end, but the actual ending is pretty good.

Good physical comedy from all three leads (Helena Bohham Carter, who knew?)

Novel and well-integrated CGI, and I loved that house.

2. I enjoyed the hell out of it.

It's not in my top ten, but it's one of those movies I'm willing to watch more than twice (which I have). That's pretty rare for me.

6. I liked it, even though it was two movies crammed together

It was uneven - half social commentary and half psychological drama crammed together uneasily - but the acting was great, and those two halves were well done. All in all, I enjoyed it for what it was trying to do (even though I think it ultimately failed) and simply as entertainment.

16. Liked it & am waiting for the next Palahniuk adaptation.

I guess Survivor got shelved after 9-11, but Choke is coming out and there are rumors of Lullaby and Rant projects in the works.
