What root rot does to a privacy hedge - B4 & after
The cape honeysuckle hedge was doing great, about 8' tall, thick foilage with abundant post-deep-watering orange flowers year round. Then after years of mostly almost drought conditions, this has been a VERY wet summer, hitting almost two weeks of daily rain besides the not-daily type, cutting the grass twice in two weeks after maybe twice per year.

O.K., fine. So one morning last week, like, OVERNIGHT, one bush and a half are ZAPPED!1 Supposedly the treatment, withOUT guarantee of success, is a cocktail of fungicide, root stimulator, and something so powerful it only calls for a TEAspoon per gallon.

Meanwhile, there's a HOLE in the hedge:
