Anyone here ever had a successful April/October romance?
I'm not young any more, and tend to find young women (early 20's) nice to look at, but vapid and boring. I lately came into contact with one who not only looks nice but has a great deal of life experience, a well-reasoned & ambitious plan for her life, who can carry on a conversation, and has been know to string many sentences together without using the word "like" even once. It's interesting.

Anyone ever had a relationship with a person of a different generation? Did it work? How did the original contact come about? Did they make your story into a Lifetime TV movie?

1. I have . . .
hubby and i were separated by 20 years, but felt absolutely equal to one another. married for almost 33 years (sadly he passed away last year right before our 33rd anniversary).

we also had the dilemma of different cultures as he was American-born Chinese and i am just a *plain ole white girl* from the midwest.

i would say that if you and she seem like you are right for each other - go for it. if it works, it works - if not, then, you'll go your separate ways and find other people on your journey.

2. Thanks. With this spread in age, even broaching the subject will be
awkward. But I feel some chemistry, and am a patient fellow. I'm a "life is a journey" sort anyway, so am willing to enjoy whatever comes of it, then q'est cera cera
