Actually, I am a lot like Buffy, I suck at math and science. That said I (elshiva) know somethings about English, Religious Studies, and Art.

4. Sorry, I hated statistics. :(
I did not do that well. But give me a problem and maybe I'll remember something.

I suck at math and science. I'm going to edit the OP.

6. Oooo, statistics!
Okay, here's one: Dan Haren has allowed 67 earned runs in 186 innings. What will his ERA be after the Dodgers fuck his shit up tonight?

20. Okay, baseball lesson
ERA = Earned Run Average = the average number of runs a pitcher allows per nine innings. (Earned runs are those that aren't the result of fielding errors.)

To figure ERA, you multiply the number of earned runs a pitcher's allowed by nine, then divide by the number of innings he's pitched.

Haren gave up a solo homer to Andre Ethier in the first inning, so he's allowed 68 earned runs in 187 innings. 68 x 9 = 612 / 187 = 3.27, which is pretty damned good. (Anything under 4.00 is good.)

But we're still gonna fuck his shit up. :D

It was a moment-to-moment, rush the back-to-back classes, emails, students, meetings, and clean up of having a two-day substitute day, on top of still running a fever, coughing, and breaking fever sweats all day.

Thanks for the kind words, dear Ptah!

The paperwork will kill ya'.

And I was whining about having to write lesson plans, do my curriculum maps (that no one ever reads), and set up gradebooks for three elementary schools! You have my sympathies, Nelly! Try to enjoy SOME of your weekend, OK?
