Who's moving with me to Europe if McCain wins
I'm thinking moving in with my grandparents in the burbs of Saint Etienne or maybe Manchester. Who wants to marry me for working papers?

2. I wouldn't go to the UK, personally.

After 20 years, I left London and came to L. A. because Britain is rapidly becoming a surveillance state where personal freedoms are being eroded at an astonishing rate. Everyone is on camera, all the time. The average Londoner is caught on CCTV 300 times per day. The right to silence under questioning was legislated away several years ago, and UK anti-terror laws are just as bad as they are here. After all, it was in London the police got away with shooting an innocent, unarmed man who was simply taking the Tube to work, and the only penalty they suffered was under "Health & Safety" regulations.

I'd go with the Saint Etienne idea, if I were you. The French have a long and robust history of refusing to take crap from their government.

4. If I went anywhere I think I'd try Canada
But I wouldn't allow a McCain win to uproot me from my history and my family.

5. I'm Canadian living in Seattle....
And this year, for the first time, my wife has seriously proposed we move to Canada if McCain wins. I really do love where I live for the most part. See the good and bad from both countries.
Despite the election, we have always talked about moving to Victoria when the kids left, but, who knows, maybe things may get accelerated.

6. What part of Seattle do you live in?
I live a couple of miles off the MLK Jr. exit off I-5.

8. I would like to.
Not sure if I'll have the means, but I can' take another Republican administration. I really feel like a McCain win would utterly destroy this country. I would move to somewhere in the UK most likely.
