Even without Brady.

I don't care if the QB is Cassel, Rattay, Simms, or O'Connell, the pats are going to win this one.

1. So Brady is a throw away player?
Good to know.

4. Hardly
But the Patriots under Bill B. have always stressed the team concept.

And look at the rest of the roster:

Randy Moss
Wes Welker
Laurence Maroney
Sammy Morris
Lamont Jordan
Kevin Faulk

Those are some potent offensive weapons.

Besides, the Jets are badly overrated this year. Favre is an over-the-hill QB who is coasting on memories of ten years ago and 24/7 fellatio from ESPN.

2. That's a pretty bold prediction
As much as I'd like to see Favre get stuffed, I don't think it's going to happen. He looked pretty good in his opener with the Jets. And I don't think anyone in New England can work that Patriots' offense right now like Brady can. I guess it would possible after some game experience, but not right now.

6. Richard Seymour and Vince Wilfork
They are better than anyone the Fish threw at Cooter yesterday.

3. I must be in a time zone--
What happened to Brady? Did the Pats get rid of him? I used to work for the owners of the Patriots, now am a contractor for them. I have disconnected my TV, so I don't know anything until I go on DU or read a newspaper! Sad, aint' it??

5. ACL injury
Took a hit to the knee in the first quarter vs. Kansas City yesterday. Probably out for the season (the MRI is being performed today).

Matt Cassell did a decent job filling in, but the Patriots are bringing in Chris Simms and Tim Rattay for physicals.

7. Considering they still beat KC by 7
after losing Brady in the 1st quarter, I tend to want to agree with you.

8. This is a difficult call for me.
Normally I'd totally want the Jets to win, but now with Brett "I've decided to become an asshat instead of my original plan to retire" Favre, I'm in the position of being happy to see either team lose. Best outcome: Favre throws completion to win game and takes shot to knee that ends all his indecision about retirement.
