Bush stays the course to lead the Saints past the Bucs
New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Reggie Bush's 42-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter lifted New Orleans over Tampa Bay, 24-20, in an NFC South clash Sunday at the Superdome.

Bush compiled 163 yards of total offense, 51 on the ground and 112 receiving, for the Saints (1-0), who are coming off a disappointing 7-9 record in 2007.

"Obviously it was an exciting game," said New Orleans coach Sean Payton. "It went back and forth with two good teams just kind of punch each other back and forth with momentum swings."

Drew Brees completed 23-of-32 passes for 343 yards with three touchdowns and one interception, while Jeremy Shockey had six receptions for 54 yards in his New Orleans debut.
