Sniffa and I left at 10pm last night to drive 100 miles to meet my brother at the Emergency Vet hospital, where the kitten we were adopting was taken b/c she was very sick. We got there at 12, spent about an hour there, went to my parents' house. I couldn't sleep. Uncomfortable bed, too quiet, upset about the cat.

We got up at 7 and drove home...The Vet thought our little girl was going to make it when she called me around 10, but she called back at 11, and the baby was in cardiac/respiratory arrest, and we decided to let her go. She was very sick and her tiny body couldn't do it anymore. :(

I'm ok now. It was the best thing I could do for her. I tried so hard to get her through it, and I had to let her rest. She died being very loved, even if it was for such a short time.

We're going to the no-kill shelter on Saturday to meet kittens. It's all good. :hug:
