ahoy all former members of the Navy
I've been invited to participate in a Naval retirement ceremony as a sideboy. What I need to know is if I can take part even thought I'm a civilian.

1. they frequently have half
Navy-half civilian sideboys at retirement ceremonies... a transition from one to the other, get it? I had no sideboys at mine... too much bullshit

2. You were invited. Why not?
Participate. The Navy gives great honors and ceremony. And good parties, too.

5. Make sure you find out what to wear and hopefully
they will have a walk through rehearsal before the ceremony. Its a great honor, you'll have a great time.
