7. other than Floyd, Roxy Music, some King Crimson, Tull, and occasional other things which I love
I can't stand it. I like moments and elements of it, but my attention span is too short for a rock song to last >4-5 minutes, with very few exceptions. It's largely the same problem I have with Jam bands and electronic music: they bore me after a little bit.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind some longer jazz cuts and I like classical, but that is a lot different.

I'm not sure I'd lump Floyd or Roxy in Prog, but they sorta fit I suppose.

8. The BBC series "The 7 Ages of Rock" did ...
but Floyd (and Velvet Underground) got the loin's share of the episode; Roxy got about 4 mins, about the same as Genesis.
