2. It is, isn't it?
the little towns with a church or two. Visby actually has more church ruins than I have ever seen somewhere else.

See, we don't always have to go in the big world, there is a lot to explore in old Europe :D

4. OK, I have to admit
I lived in a "real" socialist country (GDR). It wasn't good. Sweden has a very social way of dealing with stuff´, but isn't a socialist country. Big different. In the GDR those old ruins and old houses wouldn't look as good.

10. But...but...any country that has universal health care is run by godless commies!!
So Sweden counts.

Don't try and confuse me. My television told me so.

11. A lot of Americans have THE MOST RIDICULOUS fear of socialism
This is why we don't have health care, ya know.

'Cause paying $1,000 dollars to go to the ER to get stitches is what the founders intended.

:banghead:

15. Sweden has a social market economy
like Germany. But they are ahead of us. We are still struggling with a lot of stuff Sweden solved already.

Socialism ... I wouldn't recommend. It isn't working. I lived it.

ah, the warm embrace of capitalism:

Man, I wish I had the funds to get back to Europe. They really know how to LIVE over there!

that was an alley where there was a flower explosion almost. All houses had such beautiful flowers in front of their houses. It is even mentioned espcially in the tourist guide.

and when you read Swedish you understand a lot also. Speaking and understanding is on another page though ...

Now first you wait till November, then you can decide :)
