Seriously, what actress/character does Sarah Palin sound like?

Seriously, what actress/character does Sarah Palin sound like?
It's driving me nuts. Someone in GP said Edie McClurg, another said the Frances McDormand character in Fargo, but neither one is close, honestly.

I do know that I had to switch off NPR the other day since her voice is so nasal and whiny-sounding. But for those few seconds before my hand reached the knob, it was definitely reminiscent of some celebrity-type person--I just can't place it.

Peg Bundy?

16. Oh now there's another possibility...
Jane Curtin (Mrs.) rather than Gilda Radner (Lisa).

So we're down to Mrs. Lupner or Julia Sweeney. I'm kinda leaning towards Julia.

I guess I'll have to go back and listen to NPR to decide. :scared:

but I have posted her before and called her Wolek at that time and nobody knew who I was talking about. Early stages dimentia maybe? I'm not making light of that disease, I'm 54 and my Dad had Alzheimer's so I'm aware of its horrors.

And I tried to find a clip on YouTube, but the search proved fruitless.

In the movie "Miss Congeniality", Sandra Bullock hangs out with one particular pageant contestant - Miss Rhode Island.

There's a scene where Miss Rhode Island is asked, during the pageant, what her idea of a perfect date would be. She was a complete ditz as she explained how April 21st is her idea of a perfect date. I remember her voice in that movie because it sounded so rehearsed, nasally, almost forced.

Damn - I wish I could find that clip!

34. She sounds like she has a North Dakota accent to me
and something is choppy about the syntax and cadence to me. I hear a strange pronunciation of the 'e' and 'i' sounds, by that I mean she uses an 'i' sound in place of the 'e' sound. Plus I'm sick of all of the she's so hawt, what am I missing? She's an authoritarian with a Christ complex and that makes her ugly as sin, to me. Her soul is black....if she even has one. I hate her fucking guts.
