What was the last thing you allowed to live... on purpose?
Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 11:53 AM by Rabrrrrrr
For me, it was the jackass in the pickup truck weaving in and out of traffic and riding my ass through a construction zone.

And, of course, every moment the universe continues to exist is due solely to my continued toleration of it.

2. A Magnificent Jumping Spider (that's its real name!)

We put it in a cup, felt it trying to jump out, let it free and jump it did.

Wasn't that magnificent though. Should be called "The ordinary jumping spider"

4. A centipede that had gotten into the house.
I scooped it up with a magazine and took it outside.

If any one of our five cats had found it, it would have been dead fer shure.

5. This....
Last night.

One of the kids had brought it in around 2:30 in the morning to "play" with. I hate the things, their looks completely freak me out, but I picked it up in a tissue and trotted it acrosss the street to a neighbor's yard.

11. Those little crab shaped spiders.

I forgot what they're officially called. They propogate wildly in the screen enclosure above the pool. My more ruthless side says just get a can of Raid and be done with it, but my better and more humane side allows for a "crab spider relocation program". That involves knocking them off of the web and into the pool, then picking them up with a pool skimmer, walking them over to the fence with the neighbors yard and depositing them over the side of the fence.

The neighbors are probably sick of them by now and probably did what I couldn't bring myself to do.
