****Official Talk Like California Peggy Day****


My Dear Everybody,

Yesterday was the official "Talk Like A Pirate Day." Which was fun, but why let the fun end there? So I am declaring the day after "Talk Like a Pirate Day" as "Talk Like California Peggy Day."

The rules are simple: You must greet everyone with whom you interact by their proper name, and you must, MUST I SAY, call them "My Dear." If you do not know their proper name, you may substitute a reasonable facsimile, i.e., "My Dear Traffic Cop" or "My Dear Asshole Who Just Cut Me Off In Traffic!"

Have fun, kids!

I've been busy too. You've been directing that show, yes? I've just been keeping up with my regular routine: work, chanting, dancing on Tuesday nights, hanging out with the Hares on Sundays in London. I had a social dance last Saturday, too. And I am looking at flights to Charlotte, NC for spending a couple of weeks with AirmensMom in TN at the end of October. How are you, sweet heart?

(Lol, that's the first thing I envisioned when I read that and I'm like, what?!)

Anwyway, sounds like you are keeping busy and off the streets. And all this dancing, you are going to sweep AirmensMom off her feet in Oct, aren't you? Sweet. She's a lucky girl. :)


And yes, the show is going really well. My cast is amazing; very talented, very funny people. I really got lucky with them. One of the people in the audience last night came up to me after the show to tell me that she was laughing so hard she was crying. :7

It was her suggestion that made me take lessons in the first place. And everything she told me about how much fun it was is true.

She has a ballroom in the basement of her house, and we are going to make use of it. :7
