1. I was the surviving one
A few months after I was born, we were visiting my grandparents in MI, and my Mom was in horrible pain. They took her to the hospital, and they found a growth...which contained hair and teeth. My unformed twin, I guess. I win! :D

I still joke with my Mom whether or not I'm the evil one. :P

i was supposed to be twins, and instead we i guess reabsorbed(?) back into one. i think it's called vanishing twin wyndrome... the doc told me something awhile back but i forgot. i would have never known had the doc not somehow found it out, lol. basically the two eggs turned back to one after splitting. fortunately i don't have a fetus attached to me(like the nurse on southpark). :P

my good side is my left side.. my evil side is my right

3. Be careful...
...when you have kids could look like someone else's DNA wise. I saw a whole thing about it on Discovery Health.

5. really? interesting
did not know that. i'll have to look it up.

i don't really want kids.. don't think i'll have them. after all, if i do there is a big chance i'd have twins(my mom was supposed to be a twin, i was supposed to be a twin, she had twins, my great grandmother had twins.. etc) and there's no way in hell i could handle that.

10. i very highly doubt i'm that way
chimerism is rare in humans. there have been only about 40 reported cases.

some neat facts about vanish twin syndrome though -

Scientists have confirmed that the number of twin conceptions greatly outnumbers the number of actual twin births. Some estimates offer that 1 in 8 people started life as a twin, while in reality only 1 in 70 actually are a twin. In "Having Twins," author Elizabeth Noble claims that 80% of twin pregnancies result in the loss of one or both babies. Other studies predict that Vanishing Twin Syndrome occurs in 21 - 30% of all multiple pregnancies in the United States. It is estimated that Vanishing Twin Syndrome will play a role in 50% of assisted ovulation pregnancies.

My survival plan is dependent on cannibalism as well. Hell, I think it sounds cool, and I'm not even sure I want to wait.

12. Considered...
I'm the survivor of a "vanished twin". Actually it's not uncommon...estimated that 15% of the population had a vanished twin and that more than 1 in 8 pregnancies started as a twin pregnancy. Most of those don't know it and most mothers never knew they were carrying two fetuses.

How odd.
