I kind of like it, but I don't think anyone else will get it.

2. One of Nietzsche's last actions before his eventual mental breakdown...
... was to throw himself around the neck of a horse to try to protect it from a beating it was receiving from it's owner. Afterwards, Nietzsche collapsed and was placed in an institution where he stayed until his death.
