9. I've read a couple of the books it's based on & like them so I have my sister taping True Blood

for me but I haven't had a chance to watch any of them yet. I'm really looking forward to it. The books are pretty lively reads.

10. I watched all 3 (so far) episodes back to back the other night.

I am hooked. I will wait until tonights episode is posted "out there" on the internets then i will watch it. I was always a sucker for vampire stuff though never a Buffy fan.

15. It really isn't very good, IMO

probably will stop watching it.

Anna Paquin gives a one-note performance over and over and over.

Every character, including the vampires, is fairly stupid. No subtlety, no dimension. Lots of gratuitous sex, probably the best part of the show, but little else.

Obvious metaphor with the vampires being treated like minorities, but nothing interesting done with it.

19. see, i think the sex content is the only thing it could lose

pretty stupid imo, but then again i think that is the part that is supposed to appeal to the male viewers. i think it takes away from the show and certainly think it could have less of it.

that being said, i still think it is a good show.

16. I was kinda pissed when I found out HBO picked it up.

I knew that if they had a vampire show the chances of them ever doing a zombie series was slim to none.

They should have turned World War Z into a series.
