1. I've found it best to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.
Don't ask, just do. That's how I roll.

7. Actually, flvegan makes a good point
I know it is a good point because I was actually going to say the same thing LOL

If they say anything, just say "Oh, I thought it was allowed." Or "I'm sorry, I didn't see the sign." or some combination ... be creative

10. She could also say she's a performing artist doing a piece called "Fish Sticks"
Stifle art and speech and the ACLU comes after you!

5. That's hot.
Real hot.

If Albertson's won't, I'm sure the coroner's office would oblige.

8. There's a lovely walk-in beer cooler at the corner of Ebert & Clemmonsville Rd in Winston-Salem
But since you're 3,000 miles away that information might not be helpful.

9. I prefer BevMo, personally.

They have huge chiller rooms right behind the beer and wine fridges. Just move a few bottles, climb through, and you're in a frosty room with all the comforts of...well...a warehouse, really. Still, it beats sitting on a stack of "Hungry Man" dinners in a cramped freezer.

11.  Public libraries are cool places.
It's close to 90º here near Sacto. We have a window air conditioner, but it's not on...yet.

Am I having a hot flash? :scared: (not scared...just sweating)

12. That bad in Irvine eh?
I'd commiserate, but its 5-10 degrees warmer in Riverside, with no breeze.

18. Yeah, that sounds about right.
I biked into work this morning and probably lost 5 pounds just in sweat.
I can't wait till November, at that point I get around 5 months of decent weather here in the Inland Empire.

I look outside my window and I can see the convection currents.

20. Well, as a proud resident of the "smog belt"
There are days that there is so much crap in the air I can't see the mountains 5 miles away.

Anyhoo, this too shall pass. And never forget: "Don't trust air you can't see, how can you tell if it's actually there?"
