Anyone tried AT&T U-verse for TV?
I hate Time Warner and how their fees seem to just creep up and up every month... and their complete unreliability.

The ads for U-Verse sound a bit better, but just wonder if it all adds up to the same thing.

Any experiences, good or bad?

1. I have U-verse for TV and internet.
Before I went with U-verse (really no other choice at my apartment complex) I had Roadrunner (Time-Warner) for internet and Directv for TV.

I am very pleased with U-verse - much better service than either T-W (I had frequent service outages with Roadrunner) or Directv (no interruptions caused by adverse weather, etc).

The internet service is fast and reliable, and the price I pay for the TV-internet bundle is comparable to what I was paying for T-W and Directv separately.

2. Thanks for the info
I figure it can't be much WORSE than TW...

would involve getting tuners for each TV set, so that's an extra $10 a month.

If nothing else, I may contact TW's "retention" department and see if they can get my pricing down to reasonable.

3. If you use a DVR a lot, Uverse just introduced a new feature for those with more than 1 TV tuner.

It's called Total Home DVR. You can DVR a show and watch it on any TV with a Uverse receiver. I don't use my DVR a lot, but I tried it out and it works great.

edit: I have to go to work now (graveyard shift), but if you want to know anything else, I will check this thread later tonight.

4. Question for U-verse users
I am currently with Comcast and honestly(please don't flame) don't mind it, except it's getting pricey now.
The thing is, there is not much else to offer, I won't go dish for a variety of reasons, but my main concern is Canadiahn programming.
For me, I get CBC Vancouver here in Seattle and it's kind of my saving grace. Hockey Night In Canada,, some awesome Canadian programming and news.
Does U-vers offer any Canadian programming?
They don't seem to be in this area yet, but I am hoping if they do come and are competitive with at least CBC, I will switch.
