Most annoying current songs?
For me it's that song that sounds like a cross between "Werewolf in London" and "Sweet Home Alabama." There's one more that's been grating on my nerves, but the one above just blocked it out and made me temporarily forget the other one, LOL.

5. Unfortunately I just remembered the other one...
That song "American Boy" or whatever it's actually called. Uckkk. It's awful: take me shopping, take me to a cafe, to Broadway, to LA/NY, etc.

2. Aaarrghhh. I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate that song
I cannot convey the depth of my hatred for that song. Everytime it comes on, I crank up the radio because I think I'm going to hear Werewolves of London. (As the intro is identical.) Then that moron Kid Rock comes on, and all I can do is curse at the radio and try to keep from swerving into oncoming traffic. (It is Kid Rock, isn't it?)

11. the ad is really awful, it has Jerry Bruckheimer written all over it.
anyhow it's a USA USA USA! and shit and then it hops over to the middle east somewhere with a truly nauseating scene of a blue eyed little middle eastern boy almost getting squashed by a hummer but wait......the hummer stops and out jump the national guardsman that should be in the USA USA USA! and hands the boy back his ball and then he smiles and the guardsman smiles.

It's just full of wrong and it's pretty bad when a 14 year old girl knows the guard should be state side.

23. You mean with lyrics like these?
When I Grow Up
I wanna be famous
I wanna be a star
I wanna be in movies
When I grow up
I wanna see the world
Drive nice cars
I wanna have groupies
When I grow up
I wanna see me
Me on TV
People know me
Be on magazines
When I grow up
Fresh and clean
Number one chick
Wanna step out
On the scene

Yeah, that sends a real good message to all the 11 year old girls out there about what priorities to have in life. :eyes:

Not to mention the fact that the singers are all in their mid 20s, so technically they should already be grown up.

43. The "song" you speak of is called All Summer Long by
that horrid sucker of Satan's cock Kid Rock (and by the way, once you hit 40-something, you need to quit calling yourself kid). I get request after request for that song on karaoke, and I'm running out of reasons to not have it outside of "I refuse to pay good money for the karaoke version of a Jiffy-Lube employee talking over a song written and sung by one of the last few great rock singers." If I'm wrong, and there is a hell, the worst place in it is reserved for talentless fucks like Kid Rock who have absolutely no worthwhile contributions to the music scene outside of hearing a good song and deciding that he will talk over it.

54. That song totally sucks
... in so many different ways. First of all, I fucking hate musicians who take other tunes and add their own lyrics. It's not an "homage" - it's called being a talentless motherfucker who steals other people's work because you can't think up your own music. Vanilla Ice ripped off David Bowie. What gas station is Vanilla Ice working at now?

Secondly, the lyrics to this song are insipid mindless crap - "we were smoking funny things, we were trying different things" - what the fuck is that? Here's a tip for Kid Rock - "things" and "things" do not rhyme, because they are the same fucking word. "Things" and "rings" rhyme. "Things" and "wings" rhyme. Hell, even "Things" and "Cha-chings", as stupid as that would sound, rhyme. You can tell the words were just thought up over some Pabst Blue Ribbon and scribbled down on a napkin. Just think up a line and slap something down which seems like it will work. No inspiration, no creative thought, no work involved.

Thirdly, the fact the music sounds like it might be Sweet Home Alabama is disappointing because you think it might actually, you know, BE Sweet Home Alabama, which is a decent tune, and then you find it's this stupid crap song and change the radio station in a hurry. It also sounds like Werewolves of London which is annoying because I hate that song.

Fourth, all the radio stations in my area (Greater Boston) played this fucking thing into the ground. Over and over and over. Usual tactic for the radio stations: make sure you're just about ready to vomit from having something played seventeen times a day.

Five, Kid Rock is a dickwipe. He is the Sarah Palin of the music scene, only a lot less physically attractive. Nothing to say, and too many different stupid ways of saying it.

Lastly, it seems like people who like this song are annoying idiots who have no clue what good music is and probably don't even know that the music was ripped off from Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bob Seger, nor have any idea that these original songs ever existed.
