Making a big pot of Beef Stew today....w00t!
Sniffa's on his way to get all the ingredients while I clean the house, and then I'm gonna brown, deglaze, and chop stuff, and dump it all into the crockpot for about 6 hours.

Then, I will assemble the new desk and set up my study area in the spare bedroom, and hopefully be able to relax before gametime this evening.

:hi:

That sounds AWESOME! Yum!

Me too. And it's chilly here today. Definitely a beef stew kind of day. :hi:

3. funny you mention Subway since it is one of the only fast food
joints up here besides McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts. I am seriously in the boonies. this is the town where there a bunch of folks with the same last name as Sniffa. :D

and i love this chilly fall weather!! i wish it would still like this all winter!

4. when can I come over to your house for dinner?
You always inspire food envy. Now my planned pasta dinner seems like cat food. Thanks a lot. :(

6. well....
The plan was to have whole wheat penne with zucchini, onions, and a creamy pesto sauce. Beef stew sounds better though. I'm maybe particularly jealous, because I've decided to only eat meat when I eat out or get take out, in an attempt to lose some weight. Sausage, bacon, chicken fingers, and burgers are all great things, but I think have played an important part in my becoming a fat-ass over the past year.

7. Mmmm, that sounds delicious
I have some pesto that I need to find a use for soon.

I see. I don't eat it too much these days, actually. But, I'm in the mood to cook. So here I am. Right now though, I'm cleaning and rearranging the apartment. I need more floor space! Sigh...

8. I feel your floor space woes
I really don't like having much furniture, but I rented my place furnished. One thing I liked about it was that there wasn't much furniture to it. However, my landlord doesn't seem to believe this, no matter how many times I tell him. He's a very generous guy, kind of like an uncle who always wants to slip $5 in your pocket. After I got home from a long vacation, he'd put a big couch and two chairs in my house, and now there's no room at all! I really want to get a nice big bookcase and a filing cabinet, but there isn't room until he gets this furniture out of here, and that won't happen for at least another month. *sigh*

9. sounds tasty....
it's a gorgeous day here - 72 degrees and sunny - perfect :woohoo:

I raked for about two hours and still have a brazillion leaves in the yard - beef stew would surely hit the spot.

I think I need to go investigate what crock pot yummyness I can rustle up.

:hi:

11. I am on fire today! So far I have:
Cleaned out the disaster that is the big closet in the hallway and reorganized it, moved everything out of the spare room and into said closet, cleaned the kitchen, did dishes, cleaned Milk's litterbox and changed the paper under it, and fed the cats.

Whew! And now it's time to cook! :bounce:

And then, I build a desk.
