1. they got Fred McGriff on that roster somewhere, too
it would be nice if some people in Tampa - St. Pete came to see him in what could be his last season...:toast:

9. There have a large number of former Montgomery Biscuits players on the team.
They won the Southern League championship two years in a row from 2006-07.

Tampa Bay has retired Wade Boggs' number for all of his two seasons there.

Boston, where he played for eleven seasons, has yet to retire his number....
