Bank Of America - Online Banking Alert (scam)
OK - I have had my morning heart attack. There in my e-mail is a VERY official looking notice from Bank of America saying my online something or another was on the fritz and to 'click on this link' right away or my account would be frozen.

It's a scam! Damn their eyes!

1. Standard phishing scam-nothing new there.
If you had gotten a REAL email from your bank, it would addressed to you by name-after all they know it.
"Dear valued customer" is the give-away every time. NEVER clixk on the link even on a real one, just go to their website and log in there. If you had gotten a real message, a copy of it would be on your account page.

3. I've gotten those before.
The problem for the senders was that I hadn't banked with BOA in over a year.

4. all I have with B of A is debt!
Seriously - my car loan is with them.

Wish someone would steal it... the loan I mean, not the car.

How did these scaming people get my e-mail address anyway?
