I'm depressed kids
It ain't a about the election. Obama wins. Done Deal. I'm getting my house recarpeted as a condition of a refi and its not going well. My wife and cats are healthy, I know I should be happy, but I'm tired, my days are too long, my pay is too light, I'm tired. My wife and are beginning Life 2.0. Newer looking house (which we will keep clean this time, I swear, no debts accept the house (if and when this frigging carperting ever gets done)but I guess I'm just tired of being an adult right now.

That is all.

Was I too perky?

1. It's ok to feel depressed...
Don't let any preconceived notions dictate how you "should" feel.

If your depression continues, please see a doctor. He/she will help you feel better.

Don't worry about your carpets...they will get done, and they will look beautiful.

Take care of yourself. :)

2. Well.
I love you, so maybe that helps?

In a totally we-are-all-one kind of way, of course.

Hope you feel better.

4. Thanks
It's mostly sleep-deprivation from working three jobs, my housing situation, it's raining, and I can't wait for the weekend. Maybe the physical labor of rearranging my furniture will be just what the doctor ordered

5. I, too, am over-burdened with responsibilities.
I was such a happy-go-lucky person until recently.

My kids are hitting college-age, and I don't have
any spare money to send them.

The thought of bogging them down with student loans
is KILLING me.

7. I am so there
I assume I'll get over it in a couple of days.
Or not.

8. Yesterday, I looked into the mirror and found myself gazing into my father's eyes.
And I'm a woman!

I look a LOT like my dad, though.

He got depressed after his first
heart-attack, in his 50's.

Yesterday, I saw the same sadness
in MY eyes.

Freaky!

6. We all hit that wall from time to time
I feel burned out by the struggle to just survive. I'd like to live for a change! I'm sick of looking for work (been unemployed for months now) and sick of trying to find a significant other. I'd stop searching for the latter but I'm also sick of being alone all the time. Sometimes the sameness of life can be very depressing.

9. I'm depressed too.
I always wake up depressed and even a trip to Wagreens makes me feel better.

I stopped going to the AA club house that I had gone to for years because my X lives right across the street and to this day if I ever go, (there was a memorial service last Saturday) I get unidentified phone calls and his kid would call and harass me.

I'm getting over it though and I think I can deal with his obsession over me, (about 2 months ago I talked to a friend of his and he called me up and asked me if he could bring me flowers.......we've been divorced for about 4 years!)

So I'll have to look at his face but maybe I'll go because I am so isolated for so long.

I didn't even say anything about your depressions. I hope you feel better. It sounds like a lot of stress that you are going through. I hope you can find a way to relax and rejuvenate yourself. Baths instead of showers are the way to go IMO

10. If it keeps up and if you have insomnia..go get some help. You can spiral down
really fast and the medications they have these days are really good. Take care of you.
