Anyone want an adorable kitty?
Here's a cat that's been coming around my apartment lately, and I've been feeding it and giving it water (and lots of attention.) It's very sweet, friendly, and pretty. Unfortunately, my apartment would have fits if I kept it inside, and with winter coming, I worry about it.

Anyone in central Ohio have room for one more? :loveya:

1. Kick for kitties.
Come on, there's got to be someone. Maybe some of you people know someone else who wants a cat?

Please keep this kicked, regardless.

OK, is there at least any advice on taking care of strays? Anyone who's done it?

The least you can do is coo over the pictures. Never have I seen a cat thread founder so, and that is unacceptable. It's like I'm talking to myself in here (no offense, sweetie :P)

6. Indeed!
C'mon, kitty lovers. It's cute. And it's a cat. :P

And failing all else, we could have a threadjack. :P

5. It really is adorable.
:loveya:

But, you've watered it and fed it. I fear that it may think it already owns you. ;)

8. Oh, yeah, it's inevitable
Turns out that the person across the way is feeding it, too, so we're a great area. :P I just wish I could keep it.

9. Aww, yeah
If you hear of anyone who needs a cat, though... (although with this economy, it might be scarce.) :P

but I'm in California. I hope you find her a good home soon. She's adorable.

17. What a pretty face. Make a poster that explains the situation and post it at all
the vet offices and Humane Societies near your house. I did that with a homeless cat I had paid to have fixed and I got a reply within a week.

the calico/tortie colouring is an XX chromosome thing. And if I were anywhere near you, I'd have a hard time resisting her - torties and calicos are my favourites.

25. Are you in a situation where you could move or sneak the cat in?
She seems to really like you judging from how she looks at you in the pictures. You obviously care enough to think about her comfort, care and safety. Maybe you can work something out. :D

19. That's about as close to begging that a cat can get
She wants you to adopt her. She's letting you know that she'll keep her end of the bargain and make sure your home is rodent-free. If you can't adopt her, I hope you find someone who can.

(I can't. I already have two and I live in a studio apartment.)

24. I wish I could afford to build one of those animal havens for
sweet little kitties and other critters who need a home. Best of luck finding a GOOD home for her. She looks like a real sweetheart.

I'd take in so many. And thank you... I'll probably start to put up flyers soon. She's too sweet to not have a home.

28. Call the humane society and see if there's a no-kill shelter in Columbus
I'm sure there is, but I can't remember the name.

Maybe Venus Rising will let you borrow a carrier. Her best hope with winter coming is to be in a safe, warm place. She's sweet and young and someone will adopt her, I'm sure.

I know this breaks your heart... :(

Cozy Cottage was the one I was thinking of. I had a a friend who adopted from them.

Also Lelapin, would you consider trying Craigslist??
