it's kinda how they look me in the eye. And sort of a body language thing that I'm not sure how to explain. It's a sixth sense.

Usually it's mutual, which is great. But on a few occasions, I've encountered that situation when I did not feel the same way. Most people can get the hint.

The operative word here is "than normal." If she's super friendly or touchy-feely with everyone, then it's not about you.

I once had a roommate who was always getting hit on by obviously clueless men because her normal personality was upfront and effusive. She was that way to everybody, male or female, but clueless, inexperienced men would interact with her and assume that she was crazy about them, and being clueless men, they would show up at our door with flowers (literally) or start following her around. I advised her to mention her fiancé in Boston at the earliest opportunity, and even the clueless men could figure that out.
