2. Grant, Newman, Bogart
Grant and Newman could do drama and comedy, Bogie just a good dramatic actor. Did he ever make a comedy?

5. With these 3 guys it's easy.
Each one played the same guy in almost every movie he ever made. I voted Newman, Bogart, Grant without thinking about it for more than a minute.

If I'd thought about it for two minutes, I'd've ranked them Bogart, Newman, Grant.

15. Grant, Bogart, Newman.
That was easy.

Cary Grant is my hero, my role model and my idol. I strive to be more like him every day.

Bogart had one character archetype in him but he mastered that character like nobody has ever mastered a role. Every depiction of surly, truth-obsessed detective anti-hero since has been in some form an homage or reference to Bogie.

Paul Newman...great humanitarian. I was not a fan of his work...except Slap Shot. George Kennedy was the bright shining performance of Cool Hand Luke IMO.
