Good grief I'm getting old
My birthday is tomorrow and I'm sitting at home on a Saturday night. That must be a sign of old age. Oh well, it beats the alternative I suppose. Besides, who wants to get in trouble the night before their birthday? Football, candidates forum and a good live band tomorrow. Sounds pretty good.

2. Or maybe just wise?
My birthday is next week and despite my better judgment, I plan on being a drunken, costumed messy year older;)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! :toast:

5. Thanks
And a Happy Birthday to you as well. Let's hope we can both celebrate a little late with a HUGE victory for Barack Obama.

6. Put on the new Buddy Guy album to get in a better mood.
It's excellent. I know what you mean about getting old: Friday and Saturday nights don't mean a heck of a lot to me any more. I remember when I'd HAVE to go out weekend nights. Happy Birthday!

8. The only way to avoid getting old is to die young. Not a good alternative.
And, as you get older, you end up understanding that Saturday Night is WAY overrated in importance.

12. Have a great year! I'm still amazed and a little amused
that I'm still around - a lot of folks I knew are not - and I was not one of those who took great care of my self in my youth.
Very happy to be around to complain about being old.
