Well, my son survived a total wipe-out on a motorcycle
Brand new bike, two days on the road.

Totaled.

Not a scratch on him.

Sore neck, though...

Thank God for small miracles!

Okay, next crisis?...

2. Better get that sore neck checked out... and soon
Hope he'll be fully recovered in no time & can get his bike replaced (if not fixed). Do you mind me asking what kind of motorcycle he had...?

5. Thanks!
It would be nice, if it made hime rethink the idea of having a bike.

But Noooo....

He wants the bike fixed or replaced.

Sigh.

17. Harleydad took two of them.
Beginner and advanced. He highly recommends them. They provide motorcycles for the beginner course.

12. For education...what was he wearing? Helmet, bike jacket, etc
or just leathers?

Glad he's okay.

14. Full gear
Helmet, gloves, leather suit with armored foreams and back, and boots.

The gloves were shreaded, the helmet has deep faceplate scrapes, the pants and jacket have scrapes all over.

15. Glad he is safe, and was smart. I survived an accident
in 2003, was not going fast, but would have caused terrible damage to my head and cheek without full face helmet. I flipped over the handlebars.

Better to have ruined helmets and clothing, than life-long injuries.

13. My 22 yr old had a brand new bike for 20 minutes
Slid off the road and hit a tree on the way home from the dealer's. Broken arm and spinal compression fracture. Had to wear a back brace for 3 mos. He got lucky in my opinion.
