3. It's been years since I've read Null-A
but I have always thought A.E. van Vogt was an ignored scifi genius :)

I think I'm going to have to dig those books out again and refresh myself on the General Semantics bit. I wonder if that inspired Gene Roddenberry for the logical way of the Vulcans? It's about the right time-period. He's bound to have read van Vogt.
