1. What is this? A joke?
He's still got 76 days left!

Can't pass too fast for me.

I can't wait to hear: "I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear,..."

That'll drive the freep-heads crazy. Oops! I mean, crazier...

2. WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I was born in the Nixon years. I was raised to understand that he used his authority as opresident to undermine our democracy. "Undermine our democracy". I reiterate that phrase because the man was a sick example of an authoritarian paranoia that was revisited upon us when he was elected in 1972, the year I was born. He, with the advice and consent of Henry the K, escalated the war in Vietnam while claiming to be stepping it down. And he directed government employees to use dirty tricks to subvert that election--pretty bad, I don't actually remember him.

I do remember Reagan and Bush,Sr. Reagan's involvement in Iran/Contra and Iraq-gate were dumb and wrong, and GHWB was also bad. The postscript to the 1st Persian Gulf War was a slaughter. One the White House did not prevent, but encouraged. They were moderately bad.

This current president is a thief of our democracy, a violater of our constitution, and a breaker of treaties. If we even now are arguing over the proper way to torture, eavesdrop, spy on, and deprive the comforts and rights of, even our own citizens, we are surely in a bad way. I think it'll be the end of Obama's first term before even he truly appreciates how much raw suckage this administration generated. ANd I will vote him back in--yeah?

Hey here's a great think--um, if you wanted Kerry really somewhere he would kick ass and take names--I've heard people say sec of state, but I want Richardson for that (and Clark for the Sec of D!)

I want our Justice Department to mean "Justice" again. He was a good prosecutor, and really, he kind of uncovered Iran/contra money-laundering via his BCCI inquiries. I still and will always consider him one of the smartest guys in the room--maybe Kerry for AG? To restore dignity to a whole department that the likes of Gonzales, et all messed up (with rare stories of heroism like Comey and how even Ashcroft--who knew!--was appalled at some Bush doings, and some US Atty's like Fitz! Still did their job.) I think he'd renew and improve that whole mess and make it effective again.

10. Harding at least had the decency
To get food poisoning and die before he could do too much damage. W has had almost six more years than Harding had to wreck things.

11. Yes, but his time in office was highly productive.
Assuming that one thinks of nearly unrivaled heights of corruption and graft as productive, anyhow.
