OK, the good news is that I have lost 90 lbs.
The bad news is that my gut looks like a big deflated balloon. I am not sure this is a problem I can fix with sit-ups. And I can't afford plastic surgery.

Any suggestions?

1. not really
that's what happens when you lose a lot of weight.

When I lost all my weight I was self conscious about it, but then I realized I had been through a battle.... and the lose skin was my battle scar. I wear it w/ pride (not that I expose it freely all over, but, you know... I don't let it worry me. It's a sign I'm winning the war).

Congratulations to you!

2. How much did you lose?
If you don't want to answer, that's cool.

3. Good for you!
Congrats! :bounce: Losing weight is very hard. You should be very proud of yourself. It takes a lot of commitment and discipline to do it.

I have no suggestions for you but I just wanted to congratulate you on your success. :hi:

loose skin too and plastics are out of the question. I don't have a spare $30,000.00 or more just sitting around to spend.

No amount of exercise will take care of it for me either. So I live with it, dress nice, and don't wear a bikini!

You did well!

I lost 168lbs. +/- 3lbs on any given day.

7. congrats!
nothing will fix the skin though. Sorry.

I had my baby 2 years ago, and I was 15lbs over weight when I got preggers. At the end of my pregnancy I was 160 (I'm 4'11" btw) after the babe, I was 140. I'm now back to 115lbs, but the loose skin on me is never going to go away either. :( I live with it. No big deal, and like someone else said I just don't wear a bikini. My boobs bother me more that the skin on my belly though. I never really had 'em to begin with, and breastfeeding did a number on them. If I ever manage to get the money, those are the top of my list.

8. Did you try skin firming lotion?
I'm not sure which ones are good, but it helped for my older sis after she lost weight.

Major congrats, btw!!

:woohoo:

9. Don't concern yourself about it.
Yeah, it's nice to look all trim and sleek, but you've added many healthy years to your life. And I know you feel a 100% better. That's what is important.

Congratulation. That's a major accomplishment, one to be proud of. You too, Miss Millie.

10. You rock!!
I plan to lose a hundred and I don't think it's possible to prepare for the extra skin, but I know it'll happen.

:yourock: You're an inspiration.
