the little boy buying shoes for his dead mother to wear on Christmas when she goes to meet Jesus.

I'll take Jose and "Felice Navidad" over that any day!

5. There are TWO radio stations playing all Christmas music
already-and it's not even Thanksgiving. That, and the stores with there decorations up is pathetic. Do they think we'll spend more money that we don't have if they make the season artificially longer?

6. I'm at a point in my life when I feel like screaming if I hear ANY Xmas song.
The older I get, the less tolerance I have for anything Xmas related. I like the tree tradition, and we'll put one up to honor the true reason for the season, which, of course, is Solstice, but I wish we could skip the rest. The kids are still young enough that we have to do a bunch of Xmasy things, though.
