Today is our 34th wedding anniversary

Wow.. over half my life ..married to the same guy :).. That proves we are not republican.. He would have dumped me for a younger, hotter verson by now :evilgrin:

Do your kids feel like minorities? I do - my parents have been married for 41+ years. It's more rare with each passing year.

I make it 1970 as your eventful year? What a time to get hitched --Vietnam, Kent State, cultural upheaval...If true love can spring up in that climate, it can surely endure 34 years!

On the other hand, I got married in 1971, and it only had enough trajectory to make it to 1975. Finally re-hitched in 2000 -- jeez, will we make 34 years together? (*doing the math*) It's possible!

Strange how a liberal saddam-loving family-hater would stay married so long, especially to someone of the opposite gender. I can only assume, as I don my freeper cloak, that you must be 'swingers' or maybe vegetarians or something unamerican like that, or perhaps aren't really married, at least not in the eyes of God, I bet, or else, like your idol Clinton, you're just lying in a bold attempt to make liberals look decent.
