Does lolcat talk annoy you?
Personally, I think if cats could talk they'd be much more articulate and correct than "I can haz".

I find it the least lulzy part of interweb lulz. By the time I figure out what the caption is supposed to say I'm annoyed.

What’s Delaying My Dinner?

This captioned cat picture postcard was found by Tracy Angulo in a Seattle antique store. Tracy tells us that the photograph is from 1905, which would make this officially the oldest cat picture with a caption, AKA lolcat, that we’ve seen.

The differences are clear. Proper grammar and a more formal tone was in vogue back then. But the similarities to modern-day kitten struggles and lolcats are amazing. ALL CAPS is still cool, but most importantly, she also no can has cheezburger. More than a hundred years later, all that’s changed is the spelling.

Evekitteh, we hope you got a good dinner.

8. Yup.
I think my older cat, Sunday Girl, says that in cat language every time I sit down to eat. Yogi, on the other hand, is definitely a lolcats type.

Another childish internet fad that drives me nuts: What is with "teh"? Why do people think that's so clever?

making sure they have licked every single hair into an ideal state of kitty allergenic saliva "cleanliness"?

I'm pretty sure they take the time to write every death threat and derogatory comment regarding other species in immaculately perfect grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Even if they are mean cranky bastards about it all.

Part of the miracle of the modern mind: exposure to the internet has vastly improved our ability to filter and ignore on demand.

Otherwise I'd really dislike the stuff.
