Who woke her up??????
Edited on Fri Dec-05-08 12:00 AM by Shell Beau
She is supposed to wake up at 12. Now this totally screws up the rest of the night. Now she will wake up to eat again at 3 or 4-ish instead of 6-ish!!

Yep, it was one of you I know it. NEVER wake a sleeping baby. EVER!! Under ANY circumstances. Somebody is getting an ass whooping.

1. When my kids were babies, the motto at my house was...
"If you wake it up, you put it back to sleep" :P

2. If only the dog could put her back to sleep.
Man, I would have it made then.

3. She probably heard that drip in the kitchen faucet that the super
STILL hasn't come in to fix. x(

Damn it! First he installed the hot and cold water backwards, then something isn't tightened enough, and now the baby is awake.

The new super is not high on my list of favorite people right now. x(

4. I hate to tell you this, but babies don't really do schedules.
Some of them develop routines on their own, but any little thing, like a growth spurt or teething, will throw them off.

I know it's hard when you're tired, but she's not going to need multiple night feeds for long, and sometimes it's easier just to go with it instead of watching the clock and trying to keep her on a schedule that isn't working for her body right now.

6. Oh I know that. Her "routine" changes weekly. I feed her when
I notice she is hungry. I don't really go by the clock, but I do try to make it every 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours. She pretty much sleeps through the night now. I know that is likely to change when those teeth start coming in. Once you get over one hurdle, you have to prepare for the next. Some of my favorite times with her are her late night/early morning feedings. She is so happy at that time.

And I have to say that even though she woke up last night before her usual time, she actually slept until 7:30!! I was shocked.
