I love it when folks diss Stern,

They'll say things like he's a racist, or sleezy, etc, or he's a hypocrite, ...I ask if you're so offended then how do you know all these facts about him? That's when the himmin and Hawwwing comes along.

Is it because they listen to the show..a show that so offends them?

2. He on occassion offends me and I've been listening....

For almost 20 years to his show. Since it was on WNBC with Imus in New York.

The style of his show is to throw everything against the wall at all times and see what sticks. It's pure id. And occasionally that is something that is going to offend everyone at some point. It's also something that is going to make everyone laugh at some point as well.

He veers between garbage and brilliance in equal measure. And I consider myself a fan.

5. I've never listened

and maybe 3 times stopped to watch a few minutes of his TV show before moving on. On ALL THREE occasions he was busy talking a woman into standing in front of him and his compatriots nakid so they could all make comments about her body. I've got WAY better things to do with my time. I don't give a shit if he's decided Bush is a jerk.

Imus is just horrible. But Stern makes political observations that are usually right on the money.
