So what's the maximum speed of the new old Enterprise? Warp 9.0210.

1. LOL
That sums it up. Maudlin soap opera in a token outer space setting that's so far out of touch with the original characters, themes, and point OF the show...

I'll let you know if I'm wrong and that won't be until May -- assuming I'm not satisfied with reviewers' comments and be bothered to spend $10 for it.

I wonder how they'll do the obligatory and ubiquitous product placements... not easy to do in the 23rd century. Unless it's quoting slogans... "Just do it" would otherwise have been said by Picard if it wasn't for "Make it so"...

3. "Hey, take a look at this vintage 21st century Coke bottle."
"Hey is that an iPod?"

"Yeah, it's still in pristine condition 200 years later."

5. Not only that, but their little badges with be Apple logos.
And instead of going to the mess hall, they'll go to the Starbucks.

4. I can wait; after seeing the Star Trek: Enterprise TV show.
Soon as they played that puky theme song, I switched off for good. I only watch TOS or TNG, DS9 if I'm really bored. The only movie I really don't watch is ST5: The Final Frontier.

7. Even the 1970s award winning song "Convoy" was better than that theme twaddle

10. Oh hell no, it was all shit. It's like Dan Quayle came up with the idea.

13. That fucking song killed the show.
I actually liked the program, but the mute was activated during the opening credits. Outer space = shit-kicker heaven apparently. I liked the Jeffrey Combs character as one of those blue guys with antennae.
