I'm not big on gameshows myself but that was unbelievable.

I think your concern is weird. I don't watch that program but it isn't due to Drew Carey - (I know him btw and he is a class act.)

He does seem like a good guy. Politics aside he does appear to be an all right guy. Browns fan too.

He just isn't very thrilled with any type of politicians - He thinks they are a bunch of gasbags. But he likes Obama.

a Democrat - He may have changed his affiliation - He is into trying to get the Marijuana laws changed - I haven't seen him in years - he is a close friend of a very good friend of mine and so my affiliation with Drew is through my friend - Drew is a sincere and kind person with quite a quick wit- I have never had political conversations beyond him talking about how crazy he finds the drug laws to be. Our friend in common is a lefty who finds republican politics to be so inane and so stupid that he has no problem telling any republicans within screaming distance that they are deluded and anti American.

I think the reaction to the guy winning the double showcase was a normal reaction for a non-histrionic type of personality - Perhaps a lunging around, jumping like a lunatic reaction may have been more to the liking of some people - I find over-reactions to be insincere and annoying. One of the reason that game shows in general bug the crap out of me. The greed is overwhelming.

Drew smiled and said some nice things - he did not act like he had discovered a cure for cancer... I think, even for the lounge, it is a non-issue. But I have had plenty of non-issues so I shouldn't talk. :)

I mean, at least a muffled "wow" would have been something...

And The Price is Right is the quintessential show for histrionic reactions, after . Drew could have tailored his response to the moment, because you can be sure that during the commercial break some staffer ran the numbers and saw that a dead-on Showcase win was unprecedented.

I stopped watching when Bob left so this was my first and only view of Carey on the show and wow, I'm glad I'm not watching.

But then I watched the clip. Holy shit, how did that guy pull it off? Amazing!

And someone should check Drew's pulse to make sure that blood's still pumping in his veins.

He is such a boring, flat, fucking bore.

even Keanu Reeves would have had a more animated response, and we all know all he can do is say "Woah" in a stoic tone.

almost missed it. Carey still seems pretty awkward as emcee.

I think the guy should have gotten more than both showcases for the exact bid!
