To those who've grown up bilingual: history of Alzheimer's in your family?
I've read that children who've grown-up in bilingual households have a much less chance of developing Alzheimer's later in life. Probably has something to do with utilizing different parts of the brain more often. What about any bilingual people here - bilingual relatives growing very old without signs of dementia?

5. They also did a study on nuns. The ones who were open with their emotions and less repressed
seemed to suffer less altzeimers too. God only knows what they will come up with next as a cause.

3. Interesting. I believe this entirely. Also, I think musicians have a lower incidence of dementia
as well. Also, those who exercise a lot.
